We have a very well trained and courteous team, who are all dedicated to making your dental experience positive. With four full-time hygienists, we are able to accommodate families and busy individuals.
Geoffrey Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson, who is a South Dakota native, founded the Brookings Dental Clinic in 1978, following his graduation from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. During his years in practice, Dr. Johnson has been a member of the American Dental Association and South Dakota Dental Association. He has served multiple times as a delegate to the SDDA and is a past president of the Northern District Dental Association. Dr. Johnson spent six years on the SD State Board of Dentistry and was an examiner for the Central Region Dental Testing Service. He was honored by Governor Dennis Daugaard with “Dr. Geoffrey Johnson Day” in 2011, and he is a senior member of the Siouxland Study Club. Dr. Johnson and his wife, Elizabeth, have three grown children and eight grandchildren.
Christopher Harris, DDS
Dr. Harris was born in Washington, DC, but he has spent the majority of his life in the Midwest. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada at Reno, and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry in 2003. While in Lincoln, he completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery fellowship at the dental school, along with serving as a faculty member. He also spent time in private practice prior to joining the Brookings Dental Clinic in 2006. Dr. Harris is a member of the ADA and SDDA, as well as the OKU dental honor society.
Anne Harris, DDS
Dr. (Johnson) Harris returned to her hometown of Brookings to join her father in practice after graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry in 2006. She did her undergraduate work at SDSU prior to attending dental school. Dr. Anne is a member of the ADA, SDDA, and Siouxland Study Club. She and her husband, Dr. Christopher Harris, have four young children.
Erin Krogman, DDS
Dr. Krogman is a Nebraska native and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln prior to attending dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. She and Dr. Anne Harris were classmates in dental school, and Dr. Krogman joined the Brookings Dental Clinic in 2012, after six years of private practice in Lincoln. She is a member of both the ADA and SDDA. Dr. Krogman and her husband, Ryan, enjoy attending their children’s activities as well as SDSU sporting events.
